Rabbits

Rabbits require lots of space and we know that, so at Tulip Tree Boarding, your rabbit will only be given the best , and will always have enough room to run and stretch. We offer accommodation both inside and out, as well as time for grazing on fresh grass (weather permitting). All our accommodation is fox/cat/rabbit proof and locked where possible, so you can be sure your bunnies are safe with us!

Shed and Run

This is particularly suited for larger breeds or multiple bunnies from the same household. They will get free range access to the entire 6 foot x 4 foot shed which is fully insulated against the cold and has windows for natural light. A large outdoor run can be accessed through a bunny door in the shed, which allows free access in and out during the day. In sunnier weather bunnies can also be moved into a run on the grass.

Shed

This is also suited for larger breeds or multiple bunnies from the same household. This provides lots of indoor space which is ideal in the winter months, but bunnies can also be moved outside onto the grass during the day. The clear roof and bunny gate allow for plenty of light and fresh air throughout the day.

Hutch and Run

This large double-storey 6 foot hutch is attached to a tall run which allows free range between the two.

The two floors can be divided if you don't want you rabbit(s) using a ramp.

The hutch has thermal and waterproof covers when necessary, and covers for the run so they can access the grass even in rainy weather.

The top floor has a sheltered bedding area, and extra tunnels and houses throughout for enrichment.

Indoor Run

(not available in summer)

Our indoor accommodation consists of a large run area in our heated conservatory where they will get plenty of interaction. It contains a secure bedding area where bunnies can go to feel safe as well as tunnels and chew toys for entertainment, and a litter tray for cleanliness.

We ask that you bring your pets preferred dry food as it is best if their diet remains the same in order to avoid upset tummies.

All rabbits must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis, R(V)HD and R(V)HD2.

We will therefore need to see an up to date vaccination card before we secure your booking. We do not accept aggressive rabbits into our care as we need to be able to comfortably handle your pet in case of emergency and/or in order to take them to the vets (being squirmy to pick up etc is no problem).
